As individuals our tastes and preferences in terms of style will never be the same. The sooner you come to accept this the more you will learn to appreciate your own style as well as others.
Lately I find myself walking into a store and opting not to purchase what I intended to purchase because it is not "normal" (yes, in my mind my style is not normal). But thats the thing, WHAT IS NORMAL? Yes, I like the things that most people would never think of buying, and yes I do get weird looks sometimes but I've learnt that at the end of the day, its about me and not what the next person will think.
