In the GA-Lands

A few weeks ago, we had a very big event that took place in my village, Ga-Mphahlele. They were crowning the chief and handing him his throne. This obviously does not take place like it would in all the movies we've seen. This was done in the traditional manner, the Pedi traditional manner to be exact.

We call them the GA-lands because if you meet anyone from limpopo and ask them where they from, their response would be GA- mang mang /someone.

Took a few snaps with my phone, thought I'd share them

The men of the village accompanying the chief to the place where the ceremony will take place.

Royal Highness accompanied by her sister in laws, in sepedi ke di ngwetshi. They all dressed in the same attire.

20whatever you want it to be

I started off 2012 on holiday with my lovely friend Pearl. I have never had this much fun in Durban/Ballito (apart from Durban July but nothing compares to that really).

I've decided that 2012 will be my year of endless possibilities. I will be open to any opportunities and all experiences that may come my way.

I also plan to post more on the blog, have something in the pipeline that I can not wait to launch. Excited much :)

Here's a short recollection of what I got up to in Durban and Ballito, please take note the pics were taken with my Blackberry Curve. Don't say I did not warn you.

what I woke up to every morning

 Beach vibes with Pearl
If you didn't know, I love waffles with all of my heart-we were meant to be

Our favorite spot in Ballito- Milk Cafe

Wish you all the best for 2012, may all your hopes and dreams become a reality.

Love Mosh

Goodbye 2011

2011 has been quite the learning experience for me, some lessons better than others.

I've learnt:

  1. To cherish friendships.
  2. Be more open minded.
  3. What you give in, is what you will get out.
  4. Don't set your expectations of others to high, but your own even higher.
  5. PRIORITISE.
  6. Be FREE.

NO REGRETS, JUST LESSONS LEARNT
